Tremplin, the booster for companies, is starting off again
Two years ago, it was an experimental programme. The point was to go with about ten innovating companies in the Alpes-Maritimes collectively; this programme was set up by the CCI of Nice-Côte d'Azur. What was the result ? Quickly, it was possible to assess it (see article published in November 1999 ' Start-up azuréennes : l'effet Tremplin'). Since then, it would be possible to add further developments such as EuroMIPS, bought up by the Briton ARM and which keep on expanding in Sophia.

Bernard Saint-Girons, who is for the moment Clermont-Ferrand's chief education officer, has been nominated Nice's chief education officer (Alpes-Maritimes and Var) as a substitution for Maurice Quénet who held that post since May 1998 (he has not been notified his new appointment yet). The decision has been made on Wednesday in the council of ministers. The transfer of power will be made in the beginning of next week. Bernard Saint-Girons, 56, is a native of the Tarn.
