Un magazin qui ferait ainsi pendant à la FNAC, installée à Nice Etoile. L'ouverture est prévue en septembre 2001.

La journée unitaire pour la défense de la retraite à 60 ans, jeudi 25 janvier, s'est traduite par des perturbations de trafic à l'aéroport de Nice Côte d'Azur. Suite au mouvement social, Air France a annulé plusieurs rotations sur Paris. Le service de la navette entre Nice et Orly a été particulièrement affecté puisque 9 vols en provenance de Paris et 8 au départ de Nice ont dû être annulés.
