La Glacière rubbish dump : manufacturers worry
The manufacturers of the department worry because La Glacière rubbish dump suddenly closed down (see article : 'Wastes : 270.000 tonnes left to stock!'). As soon as Monday, the consequences of the Administrative Court were particularly prejudicial since no substitute solution has been decided. So now, where are the builders going to dump their rubble ? Where are the manufacturers going to put their non-polluting wastes ? A serious problem of waste stocking is now posed for the whole west Alpes-Maritimes, an unsolved problem although it has been existing for years. So the companies have decided to leap to their defence. On Wednesday January 24th, 2.00 pm, at the CCI Nice Côte d'Azur, boulevard Carabacel, Francis Perugini, president of the CCI, Jean-Louis Bosio, president of the departmental Union of companies of the French Riviera, in the presence of representatives of the working trade unions of the department, will give a press conference. They will indicate the worry of companies of the French Riviera because equipments necessary to their functioning are not realized after La Glacière closed down.
