Online commercial property business: will we see the end of middlemen? Imitations frauds and thefts on the internet! Are supermarkets threatened by e-commerce? These are one of the issues which will be developed during the next Mapic, the international market for commercial settlement, which will take place in Cannes, from Nov. 16 to 18 at Palais des Festivals. As MIDEM or MIPCOM, which ended at the beginning of October, Mapic could not ignore the Internet. On Friday, Nov. 17, there will be Net Day Seminars which will review the wide disruptions provoked by new communication technologies in the e-commerce world. A balance will be made about e-commerce sites, two years after they launching.During three days, distributors, commercial property developers, investors, trademark representatives, architects…will meet in the Cannes market for commercial property business. About 5,000 participants are expected for a edition 2000 20% larger than the precedent one.Two conference days, Nov. 14 and 15 will be organized at the beginning of the meeting, in partnership with RMO (Reed Midem Organization) and the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers).
