TV and new economy at the MIPCOM in Cannes
What is the future of TV in the new economy? The question will be asked during the next MIPCOM (international market for films and programs for TV , video, cables and satellites) from Oct 2 to 6'2000 at Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Conferences will be proposed during three days, and their topic will be about new technologies for future TV and their needs and opportunities in a worldwide market. In the program, themes like 'what can TV expect from new medias; the impact of convergence and digital technologies upon audiovisual production and its broadcasting; what are venture capitalists looking for when they invest in production of TV content?' Without forgetting, of course, a topical debate about problems of management of rights in the new economy and about security.
