Train des Pignes: minimum service free
A minimum service will resume on next Monday, Oct. 23 for the Train des Pignes (regional and old traditional train) line Nice-Dignes, the service had been stopped because of a strike movement which begun three months ago. While the mission of the mediator Jacques-Maurice Lengrand finished and a solution seems to appear, the Chemins de Fers de Provence (Provence railways) board of directors announced two return links a day would resume as a minimum service (moreover the travels will be free). Normally, the Nice-Dignes service propose 4 return travels a day. The resumption was decided by the SYMA to provide a needing population, children at school for the major part.
