Realviz : a new investment of 10 million euros

This is the evidence that even if the start-ups are threatened, fund raisings continue : the company of Sophia, Realviz, has just found another investor (the fourth one) for 10 million euros. The start-up, which has a subsidiary in San Francisco, is the leader in 2D image retouching software for digital keying and the production of 3D computer-generated images. Those 'products' are dedicated to film professionnals, TV broadcasting, games and multimedia.Realvitz had made two announces in December. The first one was in terms of product : the availability of the second edition of MatchMover®, which allows to integrate, in real filming, 3D objects generated by computer. The second is in terms of company partnership : a strategic alliance with the American, Alias Wavefront, leader of 3 D graphic software. Domminique Pouliquen, president of Realviz (also in charge of the Sophia Start-up association), should announce in a few days the name of the investors including famous institutions as Intel, Lazard bank, etc…
