Floods in the South-East on Christmas day
A violent storm which occurred on the Fench Riviera during the night from Sunday to Monday caused several floods in the French Riviera. Two campsites in Antibes and a third one in Cannes have had to be evacuated on Monday morning on Christmas day. Moreover, the Riou and the Frayère, two rivers which cross Cannes-La Bocca, have overflowed their banks, what compelled the authorities to close the A8 highway during more than two hours in that area.
