Broadband : Monaco on the wireless local loop

Monaco is definitely giving all it has got on a broadband Internet access providing. After having tested the ADSL as soon as the end of last year (a technology which allows to receive 500 kilobit data by second via classical telephone lines), Monaco Telecom has just launched a technical experimentation of the WLL (Wireless Local Loop) and thus it will test the 3.5 GHZ frequency band. Cegetel, the subsidiary operator of Vivendi uses the Monegasque plat-form in depth (it owns 51% of Monaco Telecom shares) to finalize its broadband Internet services. It intends to develop such services widely on the French territory…
