ISOMETAL 2001: quality operation at the GIMECA

Around ten companies of the French Riviera (AVS, Cierma, Levasud, Lucent Technologies, MEA, SE2EM, SID, SMP, Thermatech) take part in ISOMETAL 2001. This operation is conducted in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice Côte d'Azur and with the GIMECA (organization of mechanic and electronic industries of the French Riviera). Their aim is to support these organization member companies with concrete actions, in their will to put their quality system on the level of new requirements of the ISO 9001 norm version 2000.The program, which will last over twelve months until 2002, will allow managers and people responsible for quality in these companies to assess the stakes of the quality norm new version. A version more turned to the customer satisfaction and the continuous improvement of processes. The launching of the operation takes place early April in the GIMECA offices at the Arénas, in Nice, in the presence of Christian Poujardieu, the president of the GIMECA and of Paul di Natale, the vice-president of the Camber of Commerce and Industry Nice Côte d'Azur.
