Le Figaro: five portals will rule the Internet in Europe

The Americans America Online and Yahoo, the Spaniard Terra-Lycos, the French Wanadoo and the German T-Online will share the lion's share for the next 2 years.That is to say, they will share the advertising revenues. However, the survey precise that it will be a short-termed victory because of the growing power of specialized websites. 'These specialized websites which allow to target better potential clients, online marketing specialists and the new Internet access platforms as mobile phones and interactive television, should rapidly attract a part of the advertising manna'.
