University : employment site for the department of Sociology-Ethnology

The department of Sociology-Ethnology at the University of Nice-Sophia-Antipolis shows that they know how to use new technologies. From now on, they have an Internet site dedicated to employment. Opened since a little time, you can visit it on the address www.unice.fr/socioethnoemploi. This site aims at developing relationships with companies from the region and beyond, and at encouraging professional insertion of students in Sociology-Ethnology, Olivier Mizrahi, a student, explains. Using Internet to promote our education is obvious within a context of a growing interest of companies in new technologies.On the site, a “Company section” provides training and job offers that can be directly consulted by companies thanks to pre-established forms. It also allows them to consult the students’ CV base. A “Student section” allows students to consult job and training offers proposed by companies and a selection of sites dedicated to employment in various activity sectors linked to their education. Another section is the presentation of the Sociology-Ethnology education and of its job opportunities. This site has been developed by Frédéric Bossard (Wacan Agency), under the authority of Professor Claude De Vos and of Florence Ciais (Doctor in ethnology) with the collaboration of Audrey Messin, Olivier Mizrahi and François-Xavier Bourdais-Massenet (students).
