"Domaine de Terre Blanche": the president of SAP in the leisure property

The “Domaine de Terre Blanche” located in the Haut Var, at Tourrettes-sur-Var, proves that good synergies can exist between the high tech sector of the French Riviera and the more traditional tourism sector. This sophisticated golf complex, which will be inaugurated on Thursday July 5th , will be entirely financed by a German manufacturer on capital resources. Dietmar Hopp, the investor, is the president of the supervising council of SAP, the European number one of package programs.At the occasion of the establishment of SAP at Sophia Antipolis, in the area of Mougins, Dietmar Hopp got interested in this project, which was initiated about ten years ago by the British actor, Sean Connery. The “Domaine de Terre Blanche” will have 2 golf courses with 18 holes, a Four Seasons hotel and about a hundred luxury villas, surrounded by a land of 266 hectares. It is a real estate plan worth 800 million francs, which has already started and should be over in 2005.
