Mouans-Sartoux : the Societas Europaea in preview
Next May, Europe will adopt two important texts which aim at creating a statute for the European society. It will be call Societas Europaea in every language of the European Union, that is to say SE. That is one of the decision taken during the latest European summit in Nice. In preview (texts are not yet signed), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice Côte d’Azur and its Euro info center will present the future statute of the SE and its implication for companies during a meeting which take place on April 20th, 11.00 am, at the Château de Mouans-Sartoux (13, place Suzanne de Villeneuve).The objective expected with the creation of this new statute is to allow companies set up in States member of the European Union to merge, to form a holding or a common subsidiary, while avoiding judicial and administrative constraints which result from fifteen different judicial orders. After the opening of the meeting by Francis Pérugini, the president of the CCI NCA, a debate-conference is scheduled on the theme of the European society, the constitution mode, head office and registration, fiscal aspects.
