Cannes: the nautical show steps into the Palais
For its 24th edition, the International Boat Show, from September 12th to 17th, at the Vieux Port, sets up in the Espace Riviera since all the docks have been taken up.
Still bigger, still more beautiful ! The 24th nautical show in Cannes, which will take place from September 12th to 17th at the Vieux Port gets bigger every year. But this time, it sets up in a part of the Palais des festivals, as president Gérard Rodriguez wishes, after having conquered the whole Albert Edouard dock, the yachting dock of Cannes. Thus, 1.000 m2 of the Espace Riviera, the palace extension, will be reserved to welcome manufacturers, service and design companies as well as top-of-the-range businesses dedicated to yachting. A total of 35 supplementary exhibitors have been welcomed. As it has become the first top-of-the-range boat show in France, the nautical show of Cannes will present 360 sailing-boats and especially motor-boats between 10 and 40 meters long. Some supplementary figures: more than 40.000 visitors from 31 nationalities are expected, an exhibition surface of 31.000 m2 is reserved for more than 300 exhibitors and there will be more than 600 exhibited boats.A good idea: this year, dates have been harmonised with the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle which will end (from September 5th to 10th) when Cannes will open its docks. This will prevent professionals from too much efforts that they used to provide to cover both shows the previous years.Information and contactsOpening hours: everyday from 10.00 am and 7.00 pm.Last day, September 17th, closure at 6.00 pm.Entrance fee: 55 F (€ 8.38).
