The 14th Book Festival of Mouans-Sartoux will take place on October 5th, 6th and 7th 2001, from 10.00am to 7.00pm, at the cultural center of the Cèdres. Over more than 5.000 m2 of exhibition, more than 300 authors, 120 exhibitors and 30.000 visitors are expected over the three days. On the theme, “I and the others”, this show will try to define the place of the individual in the society. Exhibitors, publishers and of course authors will conduct conferences, debates, roundtables and letter coffees.

Le 14ème Festival du Livre de Mouans-Sartoux se déroulera les 5, 6 et 7 Octobre 2001, de 10 à 19 heures, au centre culturel des Cèdres. Sur plus de 5000 m2 d'exposition, il est annoncé plus de 300 auteurs, 120 exposants tandis que 30.000 visiteurs sont attendus sur les trois jours. Sur le thème "Moi et les autres", ce salon va tenter de définir la place de l'individu dans la société. Exposants, éditeurs, et bien sûr auteurs interviendront à l'occasion de conférences, débats, tables rondes et cafés littéraires.

Plus de 250 participants tout au long de la journée, un grand tour d'horizon sur les projets phares des clubs qui font partie de la vie sophipolitaine : le premier rendez-vous des clubs de Sophia, vendredi 28 septembre au CICA a été un succès. Cette fête des associations sophipolitaines, en pleine célébration du centenaire de la loi de 1901, partait d'ailleurs de loin. C'est à l'occasion des festivités des 30 ans de Sophia Antipolis, que la Telecom Valley et Data Base Forum avaient envisagé une grande journée conviviale des clubs.

The 14th EMEA convention (Europe, Middle East and Africa) of Honeywell users will take place at Nice Acropolis from October 1st to 4th. The selected theme is "Excellence in the Process". Alain André keeps on being the ambassador of the BIC (Business & Innovation Centre) from Sophia Antipolis in the European community. The general manager of CICOM organization, the former manager of the CICA, will thus take part in the congress in Porto (Portugal) on October 4th and 5th.
