On Wednesday Nice inaugurates Nikaïa, its 'very big hall'

The inauguration of the new big hall, built in Nice, at the beginning of the Var plain in front of the Nice-Matin building, will take place on Wednesday April 4th, 12.00 am, in the presence of Elton John who will make the first performance. This inauguration will take place in the presence of Jacques Peyrat, senator-mayor of Nice, Michele Vauselle, the president of the regional Council, Charles Ginesy, the president of the Council of the department and a crowd of personalities. According to the different configurations, Nikaïa can be attended on the 9.500 m2 by 8.000 people at most (4.600 on fixed terraces and 3.400 standing up) or even 6.200 seated people thanks to system of moving terraces. Better, the great scene (long of 15 meters and large of 11 meters can be opened on the other side on the stadium and then the show can be seen by 25.000 people. An equipment that will be precious for Nice as much as for the French Riviera.
