Tourism@2001 is growing

Tourism@, event organized by the CCI, aims to establish the link between the two pillars of the French Riviera economy: tourism and NTIC. The first edition of tourism@ in December 2000 was crowned with success: about 400 contributors and a very attractive programme of conferences. It encouraged the CCI, with the support of the Telecom Valley association in charge of the technology part to go further this year. The second edition, planned for November 28th and 29th 2001, will take place at Nice Acropolis. Themes such as localization, e-booking, development of customer loyalty, market places for business tourism, etc, whereas a review will be done concerning the possibilities tourism is offered by new technologies of information and communication.The Telecom Valley, which develops its project of "m-tourism" (the mobile at the service of tourism), is already getting ready for Tourism@ 2001. A meeting organized for the companies or institutions interested by this event will take place on Tuesday June 12th, from 18.00 to 20.00 at the CICA of Sophia Antipolis, 2229 route des Crêtes.
