The Telecom Valley attending the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco

The new forum 'Commslive Europe', gathering for the first time the main telecommunication actors at Grimaldi Forum in Monaco (operators, manufacturers, software designers, etc.) will reach its target concerning exhibitors : among a few fifty stands, the best companies were there (Compaq, Telecom, Telcordia, Alcatel, etc...). However, this first forum was a bit empty : less than a thousand visitors on the 3 days. Nothing to do with the GSM Congress in Cannes, which expects to welcome more than fifteen thousands visitors in February next year !Nevertheless, the ETSI in Sophia Antipolis took this opportunity to invite company managers of the Telecom Valley to a business breakfast at Grimaldi Forum. This business breakfast, attended by thirty of them or so, was followed by a meeting on the subject of the DSL expansion in Europe and a visit of the forum. As many high tech ambassadors of the French Riviera who have been charmed by the architectural beauty and the functionality of the new Congress centre in Monaco.
