Sophia: NicOx reinforces its managerial team

A Sophipolitan start-up dealing with health, NicOx which has been quoted since November 1999 at the New Market in Paris, has just reinforced its managerial team. Specialized in research and development for innovating drugs releasing nitric oxide, it has chosen Nigel Capps as manager of the business development section. He will have to find new partnerships with pharmaceutical laboratories or groups.Two other nominations were announced: doctor Antoine Abita will become vice-president in charge of development and Joël Morley as correspondent with the USA. Doctor Abita who has more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in Europe and in Japan will be responsible for clinical studies of products coming from NicOx research, until they are marketed. Joël Morley, a 17 year-experience in US pharmaceutical industry (he worked at Glaxo-Wellcome for 12 years) is in charge of striking up collaborations with the main research centers in components and substances at their first stage of development.
