Robertet in Grasse: turnover increasing by 17.2%

Some excellent figures for the Robertet S.A. company, located in Grasse and specialized in aroma, which activity of the first six months of 2001 are increasing: turnover increasing by 17.2% and + 30.9% in net result. The European entities of the group are the reasons for the growth in the three activity sectors: raw materials, fragrance compositions and food aromas. The group also explains that the purchasing operations of minor interests in American subsidiaries and the takeover with the Danone group of the Belgian company PAB Savoury, specialised in salted aromas, have contributed to these results. Philippe Maubert, the president of the board of directors has confirmed as well that the objective of a turnover of 200 million euros for 2001 should be reached. This would be the fifth year of strong growth. The impact of American events cannot yet been evaluated.
