The departure of Hubert Perrin had been announced in the edition of Nov.4. Hubert Perrin had integrated the Nice-Matin team in 1999.The group which is lead by Michel Comboul, CEO, finalized sweetly the merger between Var-Matin and Nice-Matin, two titles different enough. The manager of the merger was Patrick Andrieu, who almost only worked for Nice-Matin since he integrated the group in 1978. On its edition of Nov. 6, the newspaper introduced its new editorial staff manager: leader of the region from 1989 to 1998, he managed Var-Matin during the merger operation and come back to Nice as chief editor and information manager.The group which appreciated his efficiency to gather together around a same editorial project, has just made him editorial staff manager
