The new Corolla comes from Toyota?s design center of Sophia Antipolis
This is the first “baby” of the design center that Toyota has opened in May 2000 in the research park of Sophia Antipolis. This “Corolla from the Riviera” has been presented early this week to more than 700 journalists of the international automobile press. Intended to the European market, it will be made in 3 or 5 doors and in wagon. With 298 million cars, the Corolla is the most sold model in the world. This younger and Europeanised version, with a design strongly inspirited from the Yaris, will be presented in Frankfort next week. It is expected to sell 200.000 vehicles per year in Europe.
