Monaco : Imagina will be back next year

This year, Imagina won’t be on. The most famous event on virtual images and new technologies has been held for 20 years in Monaco, at the end of January and beginning of February. It wasn’t on this year, following the resignation of the INA (National Audiovisuals Institute). However, the principality, which counts a lot on business and congress tourism, insists that Imagina isn’t over. The first step towards a future: Monte Carlo television festival, which co-organized this event, has just been granted the overall rights of the name Imagina from the INA. A work team is currently studying the new orientations to take. Thus the festival can go on next year under new basis at the same dates as usual, that is to say at the beginning of February 2002.
