High Court of Justice of Nice: no new intern inquiry
No new inquiry of the ISJ (Inspection des Services Judiciaires; Judicial services inspection) to the High Court of Justice of Nice: this is what Elisabeth Guigou, the Minister of Justice, has mentioned. After the declarations of the District Attorney Eric de Montgolfier who complained about the disappearance of several important files and about the too-strong influence of some Masonic networks, the judges, who met on October 27th in general assembly, have asked to submit the ISJ. The Minister of Justice has thought that such an inquiry was started late 1998 and that there is no reason to open a new one. Authorities, the president of the Court of Appeal and the District Attorney have been put in charge of writing reports and proposing solutions. "We have to make this court work normally in the respect of anyone", the Minister said.
