Gemplus, on the market on December, 6th

Gemplus, world leader of smart cards will be on the market on December, 6th 2000. The company, of a high potential in the sector, will be on Euronext Paris First market and on the Nasdaq. It is aiming to raise 108 to 123 million euros thanks to a capital increase of 15 million shares. At the same time, the open price range offered for households (10% of shares on the market), is between 7.25 and 8.25 euros, which enhances the value of the company by nearly 5 million euros. Moreover, a transaction of transfer of over 63 million shares will take place ( GE Capital withdrawal and the influence of employees' stock options).
