Education: the first APPIM award for the ESINSA
The ESINSA (Ecole supérieure d'ingénieurs de Nice Sophia Antipolis; engineering school) has been rewarded with the first APPIM award (Association des partenaires pour la promotion industrielle méditerranéene; association of partners for industrial promotion on the Riviera). This award congratulates educations which meet the needs of a qualified labour force the most efficiently. Three other institutions have also been awarded during the event at the Lycée hotelier de Nice. The electrotechnical BEP diploma of the Eucalyptus high school in Nice, has been rewarded with the company special award. The Ceram, the pioneer in the apprenticed higher educations, for its diploma of business school and the diploma in computer sciences of the Estiennes d'Orves high school in Nice (high technicians in computer sciences) have been rewarded with the partner special award (France Telecom and EDF).
