Getting the relevant piece of information becomes a primordial stake for the company in a globalisation context, with an increased competition as well as new markets to explore, a higher demanding level from customers, the evolution of rules and technologies. In order to support his strategy, to develop his project, to anticipate the rule changes, company managers must have a good knowledge of their professional environment. The role of the industrial watch, which is a real driving tool, is to bring this added-value piece of information, at the right moment, to the right person so that he can make the right decision.
This is why the CCI NCA has launched out a cycle of three information meetings. The aim of these meetings is to inform industrialists from the Riviera about the necessity to watch and about the ways to do so. The first meeting happened on Tuesday November 13th. The two other meetings conducted by the people in charge of the Innovation / ARIST branch – Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice Côte d’Azur are scheduled:
- Tuesday November 27th 2001 – 8.30 to 11.30 am – Nice CCI Nice Côte d’Azur – 20 Bd Carabacel, with a “Setting up the industrial watch” workshop. Three points will be tackled: information sources; method; demonstration of e-nov@action.
- Thursday November 29th 2001 – 8.30 to 11.30 am – Grasse, Maison des Entreprises – Center IV – 119 route de la Paoute, with a “Setting up the regular industrial watch”. The same themes will be tackled.
