Cannes: multimedia signal processing

The IEEE Signal Processing Society, a world scientific company, is organising a workshop on multimedia signal processing at the Radisson SAS in Cannes from October 3rd to 5th 2001. This worship, which gathers searchers, developers and every kind of people coming from the industrial and multimedia world, has received the support from the Eurécom Institute of Sophia Antipolis, as well as from many big companies of the French Riviera such as Texas Instruments, Cegetel and Hitachi. Thus, the coordination of these meetings is assured by Dr. Jean-Luc Dugelay (Eurécom), assisted by several other professors and searchers from the Institute and from parent and partner schools (ENST, EPFL, Politecnico di Torino).For this fourth edition, the multimedia will be in the heart of debates. As the different sessions, speeches and briefings, will go by, the stress will be particularly put on applications, networks and multimedia databases. Consult the program.
