Bernard Chevry launches the TV Forum Europe
He had disappeared from the circle. Bernard Chevry comes back, creating a market of European audiovisual programmes: the TV Forum Europe, which will take place from next February 18th to 21st in Barcelona. It is a come back in the circle for the one who is known as the founder of the important communication congresses of Cannes. He is the founder of the MIP-TV and of the Midem, shows which now became giants. He launched them more than thirty years ago, before selling its company, which is now in the hands of the Reed Midem Organisation. After working in the edition (he published among others the magazine called “Parcours” for Air Inter), Bernard Chevry took over the niche of big audiovisual shows. TV Forum Europe is in the framework of the rise in power of the European audiovisual production, with the same concept as the MIP-TV and the MIPCOM: to ease the meeting between actors of European channels in order to sell, buy, co-produce and co-finance programmes.
