Bad weather: slowdown at the Nice airport

The bad weather of Nov. 6 provoked a slowdown at the Nice airport. From 40 flights a day, the traffic collapsed to only 6.

And the bad weather also disturbed the arrivals for the IST 2000 (Information Society Technologies) meeting which began that day, on Nov.6 in Nice Acropolis. Thus the French Minister of research Roger-Gérard Schwartzenberg, who should have arrived from Paris in the morning for the opening session could not come. But NTIC magic, he could open the meeting…thanks to video-conference.
