Air Liberté-AOM: the D-day
Today Thursday June 14th is the D-day for Air Liberté-AOM. Two labour-management committees called while there is a threat of bankruptcy filling. The problem is immediate: the company runs out of money to finish the month (70 million francs). Still, Swissair, the parent company, refuses to finance three billion francs to save the company, if the second shareholder, Marine Wendel, does not contribute to this plan for one billion francs. And Marine Wendel has not changed its mind: no further investment. So, what will Marc Rochet, the president of the company, do ? Some people even think that he could fill the bankruptcy as soon as today. To read in La Tribune of June 14th, the article "Le compte à rebours sur l'avenir de la compagnie Air Liberté a commencé" which focuses on that case.
